Our PROVENCE king's cake is the one commonly eaten by people in the South of France. Totally different from the Parisian recipe, it's another type of king's cake which is delicious! WE ARE THE ONLY BAKERY in Los Angeles, we mean in California, we mean in the Western Part of the USA to bake it!!!!
It is also known as ’Roscon de Reyes’ in Spanish countries. It is a crown shaped brioche cake, made with orange blossom in the dough, and containing nuts & candied fruit pieces, topped with candied fruit and pearl crystal sugar. A slice of King's cake is eaten as a dessert, but can also be a snack or is delicious for breakfast with a tea or coffee as a morning pastry. This one, being a brioche, is even more delicious for breakfast!! You will eat this Provençal king's cake room temperature (do not warm it up before serving).
