There's no better way to celebrate 'Mardi Gras' than with our home-made "bugnes"! Also called Merveilles ('Wonders') in the South West of France, it's also called Angel Wings... It's so authentic, such a Southern French tradition! We bake them once a year for Mardi Gras (Carnival time on the French Riviera).
Composition: Small plain and flat beignets, sweet crisp and dry dough, no filling, hand shaped kinda twisted ribbons, deep fried and sprinkled with powder sugar.
Total : 20 bugnes - size of each: 2 to 3 inch long
