Home-made pie as we do in Provence. Called 'tourte', the dough encloses a rich and creamy mix of zucchini & rice with parmesan cheese. The crust is oily and smooth, kind of like a focaccia type. Just delish, here is again a corner of France for connoisseurs.
Ingredients: oil crust, zucchini, rice, parmesan cheese, olive oil.
Serving 8 portions.
KEEP REFRIGERATED. EAT WITHIN 3 DAYS OR FREEZE IT.
** Reheating Instructions:Place the pie as it is in your oven, set at 350°F, for 15 minutes. You may serve it with mixed greens for a full balanced meal.
If you kept it frozen, let it thaw in the fridge overnight. Cook it after.
