Our PORCELAIN CHARMS come from France and represent French pastries & cakes or characters from the creche nativity. They are just beautiful! They are meant to be hidden in the king's cake BUT ARE NOT EDIBLE. They are made in porcelain china :-).
Our CROWNS are gold colored and made in carton paper, they are foldable and placed on the head of the person that has got the charm in his/her slice.
People purchase additional charms & crowns, either to place more charms in their cake or if they want to collect them. In France, families often hide in their cakes as many charms as they have children at the party, so that there are no jealous kids left without a charm in the end :-). In France, very often people collect the little charms called "fèves" in French.
1 SET is composed of 1 porcelain charm + 1 paper crown.
You cannot purchase them separately. You cannot choose the charm purchased, we offer different pastries and different characters from the nativity and they are randomly given to our customers.
PLEASE NOTE THE ADDITIONAL CHARMS WON'T BE PLACED INSIDE THE CAKE, YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF SHOULD YOU WANT THE CHARMS INSIDE YOUR CAKE.
